Đậu que cắt khúc, rửa sạch. Cà rốt rửa sạch, bào sợi. Miến ngâm nước. Cá rửa sạch với rượu trắng cho bớt mùi tanh.
Nấm khô ngâm với nước nóng cho nở. Thịt bằm ướp với bột nêm, tiêu khoảng 20 phút.

Lấy khuôn nhôm, lót lớp thịt bằm đều dưới cùng. Rồi lần lượt tới cá, hỗn hợp rau củ vừa xào. Lớp trên cùng để miến. Bỏ vào nồi hấp cách thủy khoảng 35 phút.
Món ăn đã xong, bạn bày ra dĩa, rắc đậu phộng, hành lá, tiêu lên phía trên. Món này ăn ngon khi còn nóng, kết hợp với cơm trắng và nước tương ớt dầm là tuyệt vời luôn.
